Miles runs this offensive play calling. No other OC will be effective. We have seen that with Jimbo, Crowton and Studrawa. There is no need of a new OC.

Besides you would have to fire Steve Kragthorpe. That would be bad karma, considering his conditions.

If Miles is calling the offense plays, then he needs to look in the mirror!

You wouldn't have to hire Kragthorpe. You could reassign him or Emsminger to a admin spot. Also I don't buy the whole miles runs the play calling thing. I believe he has become heavily involved only by necessity. I believe he was prepared to hand full control to Kragthorpe but then the whole Parkinson's thing happened.

Why are these types of negative post mostly come from posters with few posts? Are you a rival troll?

miles isn't gonna delegate down his buddy Stud. it'll take a Malveto meltdown before that changes. even with a bland offense they'll go 10-2/ 9-3 every year, get to a lower bowl with much more talent and kick the shite out of that team, and Tiger Nation will be satisfied...
just saying...

Miles doesn't actually run the offense, he "approves" the plays that Stud picks out.

Love how you throw 9-3 in there as if it's the norm. Miles gets to the title game as often as he goes 9-3 at LSU.

There needs to be real change at the OC position. If I can call the plays before they happen I know the defense knows what's up. When mett holds up fingers by his arse, they run a different side. When he does that and stomps his foot it's play action. How many times do I have to watch the pitch get stopped behind the line of scrimmage? Watching this offense is mind numbing.

Btw Jarvis Landry you are forgiven for all those drops earlier in the season. That was one helluva catch Friday, son.

Well I'm starting to think he's less involved in the game management anyway. I was watching the Calvary/ U high game sat and he was on the field.

I have no doubt that LM stepped in after the 2010 Vol game and became more active in the offense.

I can't blame him considering the flusterfrick that went on in the final 33 seconds of that game.

In 2011 he hired a new OC and I believe LM fully intended for that OC to run the show, but shite happened and we got what we got

How he deals with what we got I don't know, but
it will be with class and consideration for all.

Look, LSU makes enough profit from football every year, where they could pay Kragthorpe the remainder of his contract plus some. It's not like Miles would be calling Krag into his office and telling him to go clean out his desk and hit the street.

I hope for LSU's sake, that they do not intend to make the OC spot a charity spot feel good story. If so, we're all fricked as fans.
