It wasn't Bama that did it.

Most of the players on this team had never played in a game that meant nothing in the SEC or MNC race in their entire time at LSU. I can't imagine how tough it was for them to get fired up for these last 3 games.

We've looked tired ever since. But we've persevered and won. In past times, a loss like that would have sent the team into a tailspin they wouldn't have recovered from.

We have historically tanked after a loss to Bama.

This is the first time in a while that we have finished the reg. season with all wins after such a loss.

You could say that if LSU lost its last three games but since LSU won their last three games you sound stupid.

I don't think it was Bama.

They stuck through it, even though it wasn't pretty, and won.

If anything, they may have let some comments get to them from so called "fans."

I wouldn't blame them. "Some of y'all complain if we play awesome but lose a heartbreaker in the last minute and if we don't play our A game in every game, y'all still complain."

It would be hard for me to keep trying hearing that stuff over and over.

The last 3 wins are due to mental toughness and that was huge after the bama loss.

The Mississippi State game was somewhat dominant until late. Ole Miss was just a thorn. Arky - well, they looked zombie-ish. But three W's.

Me. It's just what I would think some players would say if they heard some of the crap said about them on here (and I think they hear more of it that we think).

No player or players said this. It's just my speculation.

I have this crazy theory that I know isn't true, but my stupid mind can't help but concoct it.

The past few years LSU has gotten by with a fantastic defense and an average (or worse) offense. The defense was always relied upon heavily to get wins.

Since the 2nd half of the Alabama game LSU has seemingly found an offense. Coincidentally, the LSU defense has been underwhelming in the same time frame.

Crazy theory: The LSU defense isn't playing as "all out" since they know the LSU offense has the ability to put points up when needed.
