Swap UF for UT and we are in as well. Alabama has the deck stacked so far in their favor it's embarrassing.

A play pass on 2nd down was the call to make. A wide open tight end comes to mind, but no. It was to play like a losing team with a losing mentality. Maybe the malaise that characterized the final three games is the hangover from the "we beat 'Bama in every way except scoring" game. This team is either not so great or has a not so great coaching staff. It is one or the other. Take your pick.

The defense, BTW, has regressed horribly, but the team is "dinged up". I see another awful performance in the Also Ran Bowl because this team has little to motivate it. That said, at the end of the day, it is possible that it will finish in the top 5-with an absolutely pedestrian offense that cannot finish a game without at least one major mistake.

lsu would not beat georgia right now, just like they wouldn't have beat them in the sec title game in 07. good thing lsu played tennessee

That damn 3rd and 8 where we ran Hill up the middle still haunts me. Good lord, not even going to get into it. Just frustrating. There were a lot of opinions on that play. Miles should have had Mett throw for the 1st. Ahhhg! Oh well. We get that 1st and we're talking about the Title game. Not the chicken nugget bowl. Still hurts.

Yeah because we haven't shown the capability to play with anyone.

IMHO, one of the reasons the Defense struggled at the back end was they were tired. When the first line guys were still in games against Towson, N. Texas, etc well into the 4th quarter, it takes a toll eventually. Look at the jack wagons two states east of us; their Defense played more plays against us than they had all season and were worn out at the end. We failed to put the dagger in them, but it directly led to their loss the following week.

They were on fire leading up to the sec championship last year too. How'd that work out?

We beat Bama soundly in the 1st, 3rd and 4th quarters. 2nd quarter was probably a draw, slight advantage Bama. Incredible. Had those bastards.

The margin between national champions and just a good season is so, so thin.

Hopefully all of our debt from 2007 has been paid now. Bama will have to pay the devil back for the last 2 years at some point.

they dropped 2 td's. & they should have been up 21-0. you think a jefferson led team would have come back from 21 points? & lsu is nowhere the team they were last year
