I just bought a bose surround sound and I have my 360 hooked up to it, but now it feels like I have a slight lag when I'm playing BLOPS2. Has anyone else had this problem?

I'm having the same problem on PS3. Always a half second behind. Looks like ill have to run it this way also instead of through the receiver

Ok so I think I figured it out I need to run a optical cable from the TV to the receiver, and HDMI from the 360 to the TV. Is that correct? The only problem I'm running into is I'm stationed in Okinawa and for some unknown reason therre isn't any optical cables on this damn island I just ordered on from amazon hopefully it gets here soon.

I'm not sure what the optical cable does, but I assume I'm going to have to run my audio jacks from my PS3 to my receiver, then the HDMI from the PS3 to the tv.

Why do you need the optical cable from the tv to receiver?

How I'm understanding it is the optical cable handles strictly the sound, so by running that from your tv to the reciever and using the hdmi from the 360 to the tv you won't get the lag do to the direct hook up and the optical will bring the sound from the tv to the receiver so that you can use your surround sound. I just bought a optical cable at amazon for like 6 bucks. Hopefully that solves the issue. I will post again when I get it in to let you know if that worked or not.

I just bought a Samsung sound bar on Black Friday and I was having the same problem. On mine there is an "audio sync" feature where you can adjust the timing. Try looking in the user manual for a similar feature. Hope this helps.
