No doubt he was the most valuable person for LSU today.

Arkansas did not lose this game, nor did LSU win it! John L. Smith lost it for Arkansas and won it for LSU!

Still can't believe he kicked that FG on fourth and goal from the one. You are a 4-7 team at that point so it should be the kind of situation where you go for everything like that, but I'll certainly take the resulting win for the tigers.

Damn truth 100%. What a pussy move to kick a FG on 4th and 1 at the goal. Dude you're 4-7. C'mon u gotta play to pull the upset.

And one of the CBS guys backed it. Saying, yeah LsU won't score much more. Uh yeah, maybe but this might be your last f'ing chance to score a TD. Dumb MF.

It's a tricky call going for it or not.

You go for it and don't get it then LSU is amped up and you get no points.

Also LSU from the goal line had been gashing Arkansas up the middle with Hill.

Kicking the field goal getting it to 17-13 and expecting LSU to go conservative and getting the ball back for a possible go ahead score was the call. If it hadn't been for a huge 47 yard pass to OBJ this very well could have happened..

Would have, could have, should have..

No wonder this guy is in heaps of debt; dumb arse field goal on 4th and 1. Another bad decision sitting at 4-7. Must know Bo.

But, hey, thanks.

That is Petrino.

Being 4-7, it was an easy call to go for it. Nothing to lose.

I didn't have a problem with the punt call with 6 minutes to go given how poorly LSU moved the ball in the second half.

I would be pretty pissed at JL if I was as Arkansas fan.

I think JLS figured out a way to pay off his debt.

Nah, JLS is bankrupt. Has a lot of debt issues from when he was coaching in Louisville.

Made several very questionable decisions today I am thankful for.
