So how come on BG, after 50 years of fighting Cylons, the Colonials could not


figure out to arm their troops with rifles that had exploding rounds as standard issue? They could build nuke proof ships, FTL drives, but couldn't figure out, hmmm.... 50 years of hitting toasters with bullets doesn't work?
