TCU, Fresno State, Boise State, BYU, Nevada, Air Force, UNLV, SMU, San Diego State, Utah could have, at one point, created a conference and would have been pretty damn good.

11-1

TCU's record this year in the BIG 12

7-4. Coincidence??? I think not.

I think some of you are missing the op's point. Some big 12 fans used the A&M win over Bama as proof that the SEC was overrated.

No I didn't miss his point, regardless of the veracity of the claim that was made, his analogy is terrible which is why I said TCU wasn't struggling in the MWC.

Anyway I don't understand why the A&M fans give a damn. You've joined the best conference in CFB, enjoy it and STFU.

Mizzou's been playing the entire season either with a hurt QB or a back up. NOt to mention they got the frickin shaft of a schedule this season playing Bama and A&M in the west. They had easily the most difficult SEC schedule playing 5 top 12 teams. Compare that to UGA's schedule.

MIzzou had 8 and 10 win seasons in the BIG 12 missing either Texas or OU or sometimes both.

TCU has played more true Freshman than any other team in the country and tied for the most fresman + rs freshman... They are losing ONE starter on Defense next year, 2 on Offense.

After this week they will be ranked in the Top 15 in Total Defense in the NCAA. Next year I'm pretty sure they will be Top 10.

Not to much dropoff in their ranking now that they aren't playing "cupcakes" every week. Once the O figures itself out - TCU will be competing for a top spot in that conference.

Nice try.

They'd be a 3 loss team in the BIG 12 this year. They'd have to win shoot outs every week. LA Tech would finish 9th in the big 12. A&M needed all 59 to beat em. Imagine trying to keep up with 8 teams in the BIG 12 better than LA Tech.

I agree...TCU will be on the rise and could be a title contender in a few years. Glad they brought them back to playing Texas teams. Wish they could reel back SMU, Houston, and Rice, watch them get some recruits and be competitive in the new SWC/Big12

I love how the Big 12ers claim that A&M is showing that the SEC is over rated, yet A&M still sits in 3rd place in their own division. That puts them 3rd out of 7 teams. They rank 5th in the entire SEC right now.

I think that proves what we have said all along. Some of these Oklahoma St (2012) type teams would be 2 or 3 loss teams in the SEC.
