Game of Thrones question re: Needle

Does Arya ever get needle back?
It really seemd to me like needle was going to really save the day or something down the road.
Seems like they wasted a lot of time on the Needle thing but it just disappeared

I was going to ask this as well.
How much do you want to be spoiled?

Just for the sake of saying, I wouldn't say they wasted a lot of time on Needle. I think it shows how close her relationship is with Jon Snow and how he's one of the few people who understand her. It's also a big catalyst for her development as a character.
We're also only two seasons in and there are 5 books. A lot of stories left to be told.

How in the frick is she going to get needle back now???
I can believe Dragons and Gods of Light and Zombie Yetis.....but her getting that swor dback is just too far fetched for me.

Jon snow and Arya are probably my two favorite characters BTW.

I mean, you're starting to ask questions that are bound to get you some book spoilers at this point.

< SPOILERS >
"stick them with the pointy end"
" just try not to stab your sister " .... Hmmm
It worries me that this may come true given how many other times he says something like this only to have it played out later. Not to mention Sansa's wolf dying in the place of Arya's.
Similar prediction in Arya's thoughts. "She thought about Ser Janos at her father's execution, and all she could think was how she wished some hero would take his head and put it on a block the way he did her father's" ... Well we know how this played out.
Or when Tyrion is talking about his first wife and what his father did. Bronn says "I would have killed the man who did that to me, kinslayer be damned". I think Tyrion replies "maybe someday I will".
I think it is highly likely that Needle becomes very important, I'm also afraid it may be involved with the end of Sansa though. It reminds me of Bloodraven's fabled sword but I can't really draw any connections, other than Arya and Bloodraven developing similar talents. Arya being the greenseer rather than Bran would sure throw a twist in things wouldn't it?

My post was directly related to the topic. He posted that he was a TV guy not book as I was typing it, I added a spoiler tag just in case though.
