He fired, go away Stud

quote:

Tedford established himself at Cal as a quarterback guru, helping develop Kyle Boller and Aaron Rodgers into first-round picks in his first three seasons after tutoring No. 3 overall pick Joey Harrington as offensive coordinator at Oregon.
Mett is like , Rettig is like

quote:

The Bears often put together some of the best recruiting classes on the West Coast and had 40 players drafted into the NFL, including eight first-round picks, under Tedford's leadership
. :FAP:

quote:

Cal had 25 players on NFL rosters at the start of this season, ninth most in the nation. That includes stars like Rodgers, DeSean Jackson and Marshawn Lynch.

While it's true that he's had some tough seasons and is not a big time head coach, dude would make an impressive OC and would not necessarily be looking for big money because Cal owes him $6.9M this year.

IN BEFORE WISHFUL THINKING, he won't come here, blah blah blah.

Are we trying to hire an OC? I'm confused.

We should be trying to hire one, that's for sure.

Our offense is really clicking right now and with everyone coming back they aren't scrapping everything and starting over with a new system in Mett's final year. Come on now

Tedford can do better than an OC job.

Hire a "true OC" and let Stud concentrate on the O-line. The blocking schemes lacked a lot during 3 to 4 games this season.

We only hire a new OC if Stud gets a head gig or Kragthorpe decides to retire. I don't see either happening

Might have something to do with losing 4 out of 5 starters during the season.

Our offense has looked great recently, not sure why anyone would want a change at this point after watching the progression of Mett, the receivers, and O-line.

even then, we'll still have Steve Ensminger to run the show

Yes, we should definitely tinker with the chemistry of a coaching staff that has gone 22-3 over the past 2 seasons.
