Dave Doeren out of NIU...Was checking out the Hot Seat List. Guy is 11-3 in 2011 (losses to Kansas, Wisc., CMU) and 10-1 so far in 2012. Has NIU in the top 25. Was DC at Wisc. during a good 2009 year (defensively speaking).

Kill had them on the right foot (2008 6-7, 2009 7-6, 2010 11-3) after Novak in 2007, but Doeren seems to be sustaining the success. Factor in his DC success at Wisc. and he looks like a good candidate for a higher level coaching gig.

His is a name that has been discussed on some UK forums, but I don't know if the administration is considering him.
