i will prolly get destroyed for saying this but here goes......i love isbell's solo stuff, in fact i like it way better than DBT. But I saw him live and was extremely underwhelmed.....seemed to be more worried about looking "cool" passing around a bottle of booze than playing music.

Saw Isbell play at the little outdoor stage at Luckenbach a little while back and thought he was great. I'm sure all singers/bands have good shows and bad ones.
