I dont know about playing a down but I know he was on punt coverage....

2 tackles against Western Carolina last Saturday. Kids been in on most ST stuff and has gotten some mop up duty at DB.

Yes he actually played alot in garbage time. Not the dominant playmaker like he was out of high school plus BAMA has alot of talent in front of him. He will start his JR yr im sure.

Eh...the kid has a nose for the ball and has been a hat around the ball on ST stuff. Someone also mentioned he recorded one blocked punt. I don't think anyone could call anything long term on what we've seen so far in relation to his DB skills.
Now, Denzel Devall? He is the La. kid that everyone knows will be a 3 or 4 year contributor..

He'll start to get more playing time as it seems he's finally starting to learn the playbook and play his position without worrying about what he's supposed to do or what calls are being made. His athleticism has been very apparent when he's been in the game though, it's only a matter of time before he starts showing out.

I watched Collins a few times in high school, and he was easily the best athlete on the field, but he was never the best football player. I hope he learns to become a better football player, but I won't be shocked if he never cracks the starting lineup at Bama.

He has had the same role as Mark Barron as a freshman. They have almost identical bodies as freshman. Very athletic body who will be a starter next year with clinton-dix. I think the defense is to complex for any freshman DB to play in to be honest.
