I love the aesthetics.
Rather have this than the WiiU in the living room. 
ETA:
Also I see an external door for the HDD. Makes it easy to swap in a larger SSD/HDD. The XBox will be my next console. Going from the PS3 to this.

Is there any news on when the next gen console ill come out. I'm guessing nothing has been announced but maybe leaked?

Has a nice look and may be a better overall choice than Sony's next system. Only concern is that it may have too much RAM.

Looks pretty cool and saw from the article it's going to support blu-ray. I thought Sony owned the rights to blu-ray or something so that the X-box couldn't use it?
Anyway, has there been any news on what the Xbox 720 is going to cost when it comes out? I bet it pushes $800

I think that Sony would get royalties from MS on that. Blu-ray is the way to go man, DVD storage capacity is done.

Exactly, huge step for Xbox imo. I've always been about the PS3 cause I love blu-ray movies and the storage capacity for the game discs.
Now that the Xbox is getting blu-ray, I might be making a switch.

I doubt they'll price it that high. PS3's initial production cost was around $800 each but Sony sold it at a loss so people would buy it. Eventually the production cost went down to a more reasonable price. I think Microsoft would sell it at a loss for a few years rather than some super high price like that.
