Any good news that the sacs are turning on?

I'm gonna give my deer a another year to grow out, so where are those big soft mouthed white fish biting?

Hep me hep me.

PS I'm near B.R.

Well someone decided to wasp nest the only pole I have down here right now so I said screw it. I'll fix it and try this evening.

Tino is right though, hunting mode is in full swing

Super slow day at Henderson yesterday.

No sacalait bites on jigs or shiners.

One keeper bass.

Only saw one gator... they must be slipping into hide mode.

Still better than work.

Know how we can tell you are from north of I-10?

Every Spring for years, my cousin would call me and ask my boys and I to come help catch as many of those "damn white perch" as possible out of his farm pond. Said they were crowding out the bass that he wanted. Always happy to oblige. Then he had a fish kill and we lost our source for that white meat. Would pay for a guided trip if I had a good referral on a guide specializing in sac-a-lait/white perch/crappie (see, I'm willing to travel).

I'm at a camp on D'Arbonne this week. If the hunting doesn't turn on today, I'm setting yo-yo's this evening and pole fishing the channel in the morning. Boats were stacked along the channel at the Hwy 2 bridge yesterday. They are catching them fast, but they dint had that much size to them from shat I hear.

The White Perch will be slaughtered in a couple of days at TB. I will need a digital counter that goes to infinity.
