Come on man, it's time to come out of hiding with your BCS knowledge. Break down the likely BCS scenario for us. Come here and tell us LSU still has a chance, and how.

It's too late in the season to not have some of your knowledge dropped on us. Let's get this rally train rolling.

We don't really need him to know that our chances are very slim at best. I don't know the technical jargon, but we have to win, Auburn has to beat Bama,
aTM has to beat Missouri, Florida State has to beat Florida, Oregon has to lose again, ND has to lose.
We have would have to beat Georgia in the SEC game.

Lots of things need to fall into place, not that it can't happen!!!

Aub beating Bama seems to be a key. Think we will need an SEC championship win to make the necessary jump

If you remember correctly in 2007 we were in a somewhat similar situation. Matt kept saying we had a chance, and low and behold he was correct. Matt could break shite down to the point of knowing what 1 loss teams LSU can jump in a given situation.

LSUMatt....easily my favorite poster on TD. Come out of hiding and drop some BCS knowledge on us Matt. It's your time to shine.

LSUMatt post from Nov. 4th. The day after the Bama game.

quote:

came in from out of town and went to my first game since the 2010 bama game. Was excited in that 4th quarter to write the first BCS thread of the year...unfortunately the Official BCS Thread may be retired now forever If LSU looks like it has a good shot at a BCS bowl, I will bring the thread back. I will say that I enjoyed (most of that game) and was proud as hell of how the team played.

We have at least a shot at a BCS bowl now LSUMatt.

Wrong. If this happened lsu would have to lose to Arky, otherwise we they play UGA.

Too many 1 loss teams to get a 2 loss LSU team in the title game.

Ain't happening.

I just hope we beat Ar-Kansas! Lsu always struggles in Fayettvile.Ar. We have gotten beat several times when we had a far better team. Lets hope Les has them ready. The bowls will work out. We have so far had great season with our schedule.

Basically all of what is said above except we don't need ND to lose.

There's been a lot of "1-loss SEC champ vs undefeateds" talk recently, but how about a 2-loss SEC champ vs say, a 1-loss pac-12 that didn't even make their title game?

LSU can make the BCS with a FLA and UGA loss. If FSU beats FLA and Bama beats UGA LSU is IN the Sugar. Its pretty simple.

Think some of you should be a lot more concered about lsu going up and beating Arkansas then the .01% chance of bcs title talk. Lsu has historically never done well up there when a lot is on the line. And chavis' defense seems to have some major flaws right now that the last few games have exposed.
