what about the many who hunt for sport?

IMO, I don't see the point. Unless you go hunting with a bow or just a knife. I dont get the thrill of shooting an animal with a rifle high up in a 20 ft tree where the animal can't do anything to defend itself.

eta: and when I say bow I mean the standard bow and arrow, not those high tech easy kill bows.

I just a have a different opinion then them.

Might check ur spelling dear animal lover....should be "than", lol...Corso is the man....so what if the duck would have died...throw that sucker in the pot with onions and garlic....would make a great brown gravy....would also make a great meal for a homeless person if you're so inclined...Corso is welcome at my dinner table anytime!

Macintosh you were throwing out pretty belittling insults in this thread to someone you probably dont even know. That's pretty "a-holish" if you ask me.

Do you feel better now that you could correct someone on a simple grammar error? If so I'm glad I could contribute.

What a ridiculous statement...please...how about just wrestling the animal to death with your bare hands,...yeah, that sounds more PC...

How is it ridiculous with a bow and knife? That's what real hunters did before there were guns.

The goal is the same. Just someone came up with a way more effective way of killing one

I dont get how one is more "real" than the other.

Why do you wash clothes in a washing machine? Real launderers use a wooden bath and clothespins

But if you're hunting for sport, I don't get why it would be so fun to shoot them with a rifle rather than shooting them with a bow on the ground. Takes much more skill and is more of a challenge.

I'm following your posts becasue they are funny. Your irrational concern for that duck is misguided. The duck was not harmed, if you had ever held one you would realize how resilient they are.

Your "discussion" about hunting with bow and knife is pure comedy gold. Should we fish from the banks with a spear? Net's only?

How is it comedy. Sorry If I'm not a fat piece of shite who doesn't want to put forth any effort to actually hunt and not sit on my fat arse in a tree stand looking at my deer feeder waiting for a deer to come so I can shot it with my rifle. I just don't see the excitement for that. Fishing is fine with a pole. And people sometimes do fish with just a spear and nets, so I don't know what you're getting at.

I would hunt with a bow and have a knife with me just in case since I would be on the ground and not in a stand. It would actually take some more skill and practice.

You don't have to understand It

Some people just really enjoy killing animals with guns.
