Heard he was carted off with a neck injury last night. Hope the young man is okay.

The guys on the field said he was moving, and it sounded more like a concussion. There were a few rumblings of broken collar bone and concussion. But, that was as he was leaving the field. He's one hell of a football player. I'll try to get our head coach to text theirs later today and get an update.

How good is this kid, Steve? Been wondering about him for awhile. Can you tell us a bit about him if you've seen him play a couple times?

He didnt make that much noise in the recruiting circuits because he was the 1st commit for LSU if i remember correctly. He committed and his recruiting process was over. I like the kid alot. 6'3 FS that is very rangy. Long arms and legs, and can cover alot of ground. More of a pass covering FS than a big run stopping FS that we are used to at LSU. Still a solid tackler though. And, once Moffitt gets a hold of him and if he works hard in the weight room, he could be a very good player for us.

isn't he one of the guys with academic issues. i thought it was not looking good for him to qualify.

He's tall and can run!!!!!. he's not great at coming up and stopping the run.....see last night...one of our RB's dropped the hammer on him, but he is really great at pass Defense and he blew up a few of our WR's.
