Referee Tony Corrente fined one game check for cursing over the microphone

first time i have heard of a ref getting fined.... i personally dont agree with the punishment, it was an accident.
also i have received almost 8 texts from ESPN in the past 20 minutes about fines throughout the league.

NFL ref? that's ridiculous.. 1 game check is a huge amount of the season for one curse word.

I disagree; the fine was fair and deserved. Anybody who puts on the striped shirt knows what is expected of them. His most costly "fine" is the loss of respect from his fellow officials. It's one thing to trip and blurt out something and quite another to address a crew member like that.

God the NFL sucks. I'm sick of the image driven NFL under goodell. What a soulless pr move. Should the guy be punished? yes. Should he be fined? No. Why couldn't they just handle,this internally and say the issue has been resolved?
