Bar code scanner torn of ticket

If you still have the two parts, is it still valid and useable? Friend and I were discussing this and made me wonder.

Yes, just bring the barcode.
ETA: you could bring only the barcode to every game and get in.

Happened to me too. I just taped the two pieces back together and got into the stadium with no problem.

Happened to me before the Alabama game......glad I still had the scan part in my pocket. If I could have I would have super glued it to my hand. I ended up putting it in my license holder in my wallet and checking that it was still there about every 5 minutes.

This. I've heard from numerous people this year that they accidentially tore their ticket right above the barcode and had to come to the stadium with thier ticket in 2 pieces (I did it at the Washington game) Yes, it's your job to make sure you don't tear your ticket off at the wrong spot, but ususally I'm grabbing it quickly out of my drawer by the door on my way out and not necessairly paying attention further than just making sure I have the right game. It's highly possible that I'm an idiot, but judging by the responses to this post, I'm not the only one who has done this.
Also, it seems like LSU went out of their way this year to make the ticket booklet an uncessary clusterfrick. If I recall correctly, the tickets are listed like this:

Game 1 Game 3
Game 2 Game 4
(next page)
Game 5 Game 7
Game 6 Game 8
WTF was wrong with just the one sheet that went sequentially from left to right?
