Magazine restrictions for deer hunting?

Are there any restrictions on magazine capacities for deer hunting?
Wondering if someone could hunt with a 30 round AR magazine or if they would need to get a 5 round. Couldn't find anything in the LDWF regulations.

Naw, you can bring any kind of magazine to read. I'd stay away from nudey mags though. Might miss a deer.

No magazine restrictions but there is a strict limit on clips.

In a rifle you may use whatever size ammunition conveying mechanism you choose.
In a shotgun it's 3 or less in LA. No matter what you hunt. Deer duck wabbit etc...

Upgrade, I'm using my AK to dog hunt this year. Y'all will know when I see a deer.

You can hunt with a 30 round AR magazine. Just be sure to remove the bottom plate and insert some type of stopper so that no more than 5 rounds can be placed in the magazine. Shotgun max is three rounds and rifle max is 5.

I think that is the case in other states and possibly in the past in La, but there are no longer capacity restrictions in La for rifles.

I always heard it was 5 until I took the time to look myself. I found no restriction on clipazine size.
