Shonn Greene wants Sanchez benched

Shonn Greene believes "something's got to change" at the quarterback position, and it's time to "see if somebody else can do it." "You feel bad for Mark (Sanchez), but at the same time you want to win games. We're not here to protect people's feelings... If somebody's not getting the job done, you see if somebody else can do it. It's the same with coaching, or any position. You don't mean to belittle someone or say 'he sucks.' That's just the harsh reality," said Greene. This comes on the heels of an anonymous Jets player saying Tim Tebow is "terrible." There's a clear divide in the locker room, and it's obvious Greene thinks Sanchez is the terrible one. Players can think what they want, but things aren't expected to change any time in the immediate future. Sanchez will start in Week 11 against the Rams.
Tebow time

If I'm Rex, at this point in time I would say screw it and let's see how McElroy does.
Dudes been a winner at every level he has played. Can't be worse than the two guys in front.

Is this Shonn Greene's roundabout way of saying he needs more carries?

He's even been a winner in the NFL.

This is kind of humorous coming from Greene, who's terrible. Maybe the worst starting RB in the L

But we've seen what Tebow's done throwing the ball in the NFL. I kind of want to see if Greg can even play at the NFL level.

Yeah, with the most talented team in CFB and he still couldnt put up big numbers. He's way worse than Sanchez or Tebow.

and you people bitch and wonder why ESPN continues to show shite on Tebow...fourth or fifth thread on the jets in 24 hours.

This is all on the Jets.
Sanchez was average QB at best over the last couple of years, so were a lot of the other Jets players.
Now the Jets suck (3-6); the Jets want to protect the QB(Sanchez) that is 65-60 TD/INT in his career.
To do this they are blaming, Tebow, the backup QB who you just traded a 3rd round pick & $2.75 million to aquire.
If you would give the average MSB poster $2.75 million & a 3rd round pick with the objective of improving the Jets Offense,99% of them could do better than trading forTebow. The other 1% is Verlander BEAST

Almsot 3000 yards with a 71% completion rate and 20 tds to 5 interceptions is pretty damn good.
They aren't xbox numbers, but I would be damn happy if my QB were putting up highly efficient stats like that.

It's pretty good, but most could tell he didnt have the skills to be anything more than a 3rd string Qb in the nfl.
quote:This aint bama though. He's not going to have a superior run game and the best Offensive Line in the league.

he'd just check it down to Dustin Keller, Joe McKnight, and MAYBE Shonn Greene.

I like that he said Sanchez sucks. This makes up for Greene sucking last year when I had him in fantasy.

Can we stop pretending that the "anonymous" Jets player isn't Antonio Cromartie?

All of these guys running their mouths is a problem. I feel like Ryan has lost control of this team.
