Anyone there on Thanksgiving Day - try to make a reservation at Fred's Hickory Inn (Bentonville) for a late lunch. We did this last year (wife 8 months pregnant) and it was a win.

Be sure to check out Crystal Bridges museum, a world-class American art museum built with Walmart money last year. Great buidling, with great art, in a beautiful setting.

LSUfan20005,

Fred's and Crystal Bridges are both good choices. The Crystal Bridges museum is actually an awesome place to spend a few hours.

I have been in this area since 2007. It is somewhat of a challenge since the Hog fans tend to be very delusional, but Fayetteville is definitely better than Little Rock.

I'll be going but just for the game; I won't be spending any time there.

can't wait. been to l.r. the last two times and even though the stadium sucks, the atmosphere is surprisingly good. fayetteville is the last sec campus that i want to check off my list. going up tues to see my cousin in l.r. hike pinnacle, thanksgiving lunch, go to game and back.

will anything be open on dickson thurs night? i'm wondering if everything will shut down early since it's thanksgiving day.

All I know about RV is the lot. It's at 15th Street at S. Razorback Road.

Call UARK campus police and ask them.

Flying to Tulsa on Thanksgiving morning and driving over. This was the last SEC campus for us to visit but now have Mizzou to deal with.

I love the smell of napalm in the morning in Fayettenam.

We are driving up Thursday; game on Friday; Back to BR on Saturday. When our kids (both LSU students) got their tickets we assumed the game would be in LR, so we debated when we heard it was another 3-4 hours to F'ville, but we heard nice things about the stadium so WTH, decided to go. Got a good hotel room pretty easily and at a good price; bought LSU-section tickets off the Ticket Exchange. Probably could have waited to closer to the game to buy our tickets, but it's a plus to sit with other LSU folks, and I think the seats are pretty good (hope so! haha).

Geaux Tigers and Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

In Fayetteville, for early dinner look into AQ Chicken House, they're usually open for early Thanksgiving. a little further away in Bentonville Fred's Hickory House does Thanksgiving but I'm thinking you need reservations. It's about 25 minutes north of Fayetteville. For cheaper you can look at Cracker Barrel. Some evening places would be Ella's (on campus) Powerhouse, Jose's, Grubs and Bordino's on Dickson Street. Welcome to the FayetteNam and have fun!!!
