Their smoked meats are good, don't get me wrong, but for $12.00 or so, the graveyard platter has alot to be desired IMO. The thimble sized sides really piss me off.

They used to provide a good bit of meat if you got just the platter. Teh graveyard has always been a rip off. They give the same amount of meat as a platter but split it between 2 meats and charge what 3 dollars more?

Got the pulled port platter last week and hardly had any meat. Not worth it.

Im glad you agree with me. I have decided to not go there anymore based on this. You can go to Sonny's BBQ and get all you can eat chicken with 2 huge sides and all the bread you can eat for $7.99 on sale, $9.99 regularly.

How come Sonny's never added another BR location? Why's the one on Florida the only one?

Never could figure that out myself. I've been to the Tampa area where they originated I believe and they're like McDonalds.

There was a Sonny's on Sherwood across the street from the old Schwegmann's building. Not sure if it is still open.

I believe its Jay's Barbecue you are referring to, although its possible that as long as I've lived in that area I missed it. Not quite sure.

I've heard that their other locations don't skimp as bad, but the one near campus is criminal. I refuse to go there.
