| Thanksgiving Take Out (Posted on 11/12/12 at 2:45 pm)
Ok normally, Thanksgiving dinner involves many of the homemade favorites that only make an appearance once or twice a year. This year for my family is going to be different, I broke my ankle about a month ago and just this past week, a close family member was put in ICU and everyone's attention is focused on them. So to make it as enjoyable as possible, I am looking for some recommendations on ordering a turkey and some sides dishes. While I'd like to be as "one stop" as possible, I am ok, to split between a couple places.

Sorry about the troubles. Try Calvin's. Their ad says they cook various types of turkey dinners. Scroll down to see. You can probably pick your own sides with whichever turkey you want. LINK

I did Maxwell's Market last year and was very pleased. Chef Don Bergeron on Jefferson Highway is offering a holiday take-out menu too. Both are a cut above what you get at one of the supermarkets.

Got a smoked turkey, cornbread dressing, yam crunch, was a great choice and suggestion. The spur of the moment hot crab dip was pretty awesome too.
