Hornets rookie Austin Rivers rolled right ankle during practice today

Jesus, this is becoming an issue...Hopefully it is minor

said it once, i'll say it again...he needs to sit out for a few weeks, or this is going to continue to happen until it breaks.

Wow. What does he do in practice? I rolled mine twice doing lay ups in a tournament and I walked it off but he seems to needs to walk, eat, sleep, with ankle weights on to get the strength up.

Looks like it wasn't that bad, he isn't expected to miss the game on Wednesday.

New Orleans Hornets rookie Austin Rivers rolls right ankle but not expected to miss Wednesday's game

How does he not get his ankle tapped up?

I had chronic ankle rollings in HS after I had a grade 3 sprain as an 8th grader. Once I started getting the trainer to tape my ankle before games, I never rolled it once. In practice, I would roll it almost every day b/c I wore a brace. A good tape job on an ankle will keep it from rolling

I bet he does get it taped- you can still roll it with tape on it but it reduces the chance of it being a serious sprain.

My left ankle is like a noodle. When my trainer would tape it up, there wasn't a chance in hell that thing would be able to move left and right
