It happens every year. Can't take everybody. Louisiana football is loaded with great players. A&M alone has 3-4 starters from Louisiana

Kind've surprising we didn't take him, considering in the 2008 season both our starting (Brett Helms) and backup (Ryan Miller) centers were seniors. PJ was redshirting that year, but still. I can't remember what the issue was.

Isn't he about as tall as Trindon Holiday?

It was his height LSU had a couple of guys that were about a inch taller but he out played all of them at the LSU camp his senior year of HS and earned MVP at the camp but we passed on him anyways. I worked with his father for 7years and they really felt disrepected after that, Pat Lewis is projected to go first round of the draft as a guard and center

My hope is that the emergence of La Tech and ULM on the national stage will keep more of our non-LSU players in-state.

Why be bitter? LSU can't take everybody

We should be taking at least 4-5 olinemen in every recruiting class. You never know how they are going to pan out. It doesn't make since to ever just take 3 in a recruiting class.

Uh, no.

Very good player but not an NFL type of guy. Might be a solid backup in the NFL and drafted in late rounds if he's lucky in the draft.
