Central-Ponchatoula Football Fight

It was mentioned on here a couple days ago and the writer for the Advocate said it was being investigated by the LHSAA. Is it possible that Mandeville might get a bye this week if the LHSAA bans Central from the post season? Has this ever happened before?

Two high school baseball teams got in a fight in Memphis a few years ago. They got banned from the postseason for two years. One school (Houston) was returning state runnerup and expected to go that far again that year.

Zachary and Teurlings were supposedly banned from baseball playoffs after a brawl last year. The postseason ban was taken away but the head coach got a 5 game suspension.

Catholic has gotten a ton better since then. Their defense has gotten better and they have figured out their QB situation. Don't be surprised if they play that Catholic wins and wins convincingly

I doubt it. from what ive heard it wasnt nearly the brawl we had with Zachary a couple years ago and nothing came of that

Only 1 player suspended for Mandeville game. A defensive tackle. This was internal and due to 3rd quarter fight, not what occurred post game.

During the game there was a small altercation when a Ponchy player punched a CHS kid. Then after the game Gales went to shake a Ponchy players hand and the Ponchy kid punched him in the helmet. Coaches tried to break it up; one CHS coach got punched.
