Just finished The Pacific and enjoyed it. Doesn't beat out BoB, but still very good. Those movies just really make me appreciate our men and women of the military.

Can you also recommend any great books/movies of the recent conflicts in the Middle East? Ive seen Restrepo.

Captain America was a good, entertaining, and accurate account. Don't you try and convince me otherwise.

Enemy at the Gates was wayyyyy Hollywood. It's been awhile since I've seen it and it wasn't bad, but it just really wasn't all that good either. Stalingrad is a better movie for the Eastern Front IMO.

If we're talking about movies I would have to list these:

Saving Private Ryan
Enemy at the Gates
Stalingrad
Downfall
Fortress of War
A Bridge Too Far
The Longest Day
Battle of Britain

Fuller made two of my favorite war movies, The Steel Helmet and Fixed Bayonets, but they are set in Korea and this thread is about WWII.

A little-known film I liked:

History buffs should definitely check it out. Bradley, Montgomery, Churchill, De Gaulle, and even Patton (a cameo by Gerald McCraney) appear.

Robert Duvall did a 4 hour TV movie about Ike in the late '70s but I've never seen it
