Looks nice, but hard to tell without seeing it in person.

My bro in law built his. Aluminum inside with drain spout. It's pretty awesome actually!

There was a thread a while back on the utility of such a chest. IIRC, it got people all stirred up.

My dad builds them out of cypress with a max cold igloo on the inside. They look and work great, but his are a quite a bit more expensive than that one.

I built one a few months back for my parents to use for their backyard and it get's used fairly often. Pretty easy to do, so easy that I started 2 more of them for other people but have yet to finish them.

Is that the marine seachest? Nice. I have the old boards, just need to take the time to build one for the camp.

It's an Igloo Marine cooler. The one I built for my parents will hold ice for 4-5 days. This one took probably about 12 hours of time to build but that's because I took my time since it was the first one. I can finish one up in about 3-4 hours as long as I have all the material.

That hose bib/spout is critical, its a pain having to take it out of there once its full of liquid ice
