We pulled Tim Williams scholly.....hopefully this means the coaches have the word from Gilmore that he is a Tiger and have a really good feeling on RSJ. Last spot goes to a DB.....when it all pans out sticky this shite!!!!!

Gilmore and Williams play two different positions, and with the clarification of the back-counting rules we actually have plenty of spots left. All signs point to academics or Williams losing interest in LSU.

We have the capacity to sign up to 29 this year with the new NCAA rule. Basically if we have x amount of kids early enroll 4 will back count towards last year when we signed 21. This leaves 4 more open slots for the 2013 class giving us a grand total of 29.

Guess that could work, if Gilmore and Williams played the same position and we had only 3 spots left. But seeing as Gilmore is a DT and Williams is a DE. And we can sign up to 29, don't think I'll need to sticky this.

From all the rumors of academic casualties expected and rules for early entries it appears that we have a lot more room than those two spots. 29 is the number that was floated out last week between early entries credit to 2012 and the 2013 class.

Anytime a kid signs with us out of HS and doesn't qualify, you can pretty much write him off. How many guys have done that and ended up qualifying and playing at LSU after JUCO or prep school? Doesn't seem like very many.

i honestly see us taking bain and taylor in addition to 225's final 5, we will have at least 1 academic casualty opening a spot

I really don't think any of those other guys are still in play. And who the hell is Chase Abbington?
It has to be:
25. Gilmore
26. Beckwith
27. Seals-Jones
28. Willis
29. Bain
Plus at least one(but likely two) academic casualty and we make room for:
30. Rueben Foster and
31. Robert Nkemdiche, obviously.
