Will be in Vegas next weekend and want to watch the LSU game at a table in one of the Sportsbooks. What is the best one to watch in and how do you reserve a table??
Thanks for any advice.

Never been, but I've heard The M sports book is a good one if you wanna give off the strip and away from the touristy crowd.

Thanks all...any advice on booking a table? Do you just call them up and book one? Or do ya'll just show up on gameday and watch?

I don't think they book tables, you just have to get there early.

Stadium at Palazzo reserves tables. Just call them with your number of people. It's free but has a minimum spend depending on time spent. The seats on the patio may be open game though.

Wynn- Has the Hottest Waitresses. Top Spot
Bellagio- Another very solid Sportsbook Super Nice. Top Spot
Palazzo- Top spot. Food Terrible for being Emerils spot. Waitress talent is terrible after what Jay-Z and Crew did with the 40 40 club.
Mirage- Great Spot. Can bet $1 on Horses and drink free and still be able to watch the games.
Caesars- Is Ok.
Another Top Spot though is at the Red Rock Casino. Green Valley Ranch (both station casinos off the strip) did a make over and it looks amazing.
Cant go wrong with the Degenerates at the LV Hilton Old school.
Cosmo is new but boring same with Aria.
MGM- Small and kinda weird and lame.
Mandalay is nice and they have some Talent working there as cocktail waitresses
Imperial Palace will make u laugh your arse off so check it out.
Flamingo just did a really great job on their make over and the Book is now really solid.
TI (treasure island) still might be the only Book that Serves Free Booze
Wild Bills- Classic Spot. Get $1 Drinks Everywhere.
Only places you have to reserve a spot out of the ones listed is Caesars and Palazzo (inside) ask hostess.
Palazzo charges for a Bed (best spot to watch) per game slots. I think a $250 or $500 minimum food/beverage per slot. Kinda crazy priced but well worth it.
Can sit outside for free and if you get their early enough you can claim a huge sectional couch. small TV's but dope spot.
Best Of Luck. Talking myself into a drive out there this weekend.

Personal favorite is the Wynn.
Hilton is definitely where the hardcore gamblers are. Locals will point here.

I worked at Planet Hollywood's Book for a while
Honestly it depends on what you are looking for
LVH has the most options and is the largest book. It's also one of the busiest, so you have to get there at 8am(games start at 9am there) or you won't have a seat
I like the setup at the Palms and Hard Rock the best(they have the same book setup). Not that many chairs though, but they are large and comfy, so you have to get there early. Venetian also has a similar setup but its too busy on gamedays
Luxor is good if you just want to watch one game, as its not that busy yet has a great setup, but if you are trying to watch multiple games at once go elsewhere since it only has a few big screens
Mandalay Bay is a good bet, its big, but the problem is that the seating is a bunch of school style desks, so its not the most comfortable.
MGM Grand is weird, its kind of a horseshoe shape, but you can get some sofa style chairs. Get there early if you want a seat though
Bally's is big, but its hard to find. It's like a maze getting there. But it does its job
Treasure Island is small but I loved going there during the week to watch baseball and WNBA since it felt the most intimate. Flamingo has a similar style book, but smaller.
Pretty much any sportsbook for Saturday/Sunday you have to get there no later than one hour before the first games kick or you are going to be standing
As far as books to avoid:
Bellagio - You aren't getting a seat here unless you pay for it, because the hosts will put butts in the seats for those who do. I hate this book.
Caesers Palace - Pretty much the same as Bellagio. You have to pay off the casino host for the right to sit in this book. What do you expect from a casino that caters to $30,000 a year millionaires? I hate this book too. Far better options
Rio - It's kind of like Treasure Island but more open and kind of small. Screens are small too
Palazzo - Its a restraunt, don't do it
Wynn - I hate this place, caters too much to horse racing, and rude staff. Also its all desk style seating, no sofa style chairs, and they are usually all taken or reserved. Going to have to pay to sit here on gamedays.
New York New York - Too small
The M - Not only is it far away, but the chairs are extremely uncomfortable, might as well stand
Anywhere downtown - Too small
When it comes to betting lines, you can get your best values at the LVH or Palms/Hard Rock/Venetian. MGM and Caesers properties lines are too juiced because of the sheer amount of public bets they get.

You don't "book" tables persay, its more of when it gets crowded, the casino hosts will find seats for the people who are spending money. So if a person who spends lots of money at the tables and is buying drinks and tipping the waitresses well, the hosts won't hesitate to kick out people at the tables who aren't spending money. And when its busy, mainly Saturday and Sunday during football season and Championship Week/NCAA Tourney first weekend, the tables will be filled with nothing but the people spending money.
That's Vegas for you. If you aren't spending money, you aren't going to be treated well. If you are, you will get the hookups.
The thing about tables, is that they really only exist at the more luxurious casinos.

Don't get what people see in the Wynn, the lines aren't great and its too horse racing oriented. The staff is rude and its nearly impossible to get a desk. And its right next to a bar where too many people are standing and the odds board is at a bad angle to where you have to get up and go to it, can't see it from the desks.
LVH(Hilton) is degen central though. I usually went there on Saturdays, and man there were so many gambling weirdos there. It's where the locals go for sure, and they talk your ear off about how confident they are in their picks and will explain for 30 minutes why.

This year there was always some dude there in the corner next to the betting windows who looked like Kenny Powers, with the mullet and all, who would always talk everybody's ear off about his research and plays and would have dozens of books and newspapers and articles infront of him
He acted like a know it all, but the best was when Louisiana Monroe got the backdoor cover on Baylor earlier this year and he lost his shite and was walking around in circles going up to people saying how stupid Baylor was to let that last TD score
I really miss college football Saturdays in Las Vegas, sad that I had to move away
