Does anyone have this card and currently buy their gas at Sam's Club? Penfed does not have the answer, nor did the 1-800 sams customer service in regards to these gas purchases qualifying for the 5%. I don't want to sign up for not. Please only respond if you currently use your 5% card for sam's club gas purchases. Many thanks

But for an answer. To my knowledge Sams only takes discover cards. they do take visa debt buy not credit... so likely you can't use a visa CC to buy gas there... so i would assume that since you can't use the card there it won't qualify for the 5%

Actually, Sam's Club only accepts MasterCard credit card.

pro tip. go to walmart and buy giftcards. then u can use whatever CC u want.
friend bought a TV there once.. u shoulda seen the look on that checkout womens face when we said but 1783.77 on it

I haven't paid attention to if they accept Discover (I'll take your word for it) but Sam's stores ALSO accept MC..I just used it the other day.
Sam's gas station accepts all credit cards.

Gas pumps take multiple CC's. Inside accepts mastercard and discover. Not Visa.
At least the one off Siegen.

I've used my Visa and MC at the Sam's gas station. MC in the store.
I know Amex is not accepted in the store..though I think the gas stations accept it?

OP, while I don't have the card and can't help you with your Q, I can tell you that whenever I use my CC at Sam's station, the transaction is listed under "Gas" purchases. Not sure if it helps, but if the card gives you 5% on gas purchases, I don't see why it won't qualify.

Gas pumps at sams takes multiple cc brands. This is why I was so specific in my op. I was looking simply for an individual who has the penfed gas card and fills their tank at sams and answer. Sams/costco etc are not always termed gas for pump purchases at these type of establishments.

actually i say i have one coming... I did everything they ask... and they enrolled me in their credit union... it said "congrats your approved" but it didnt say for the card.. and i haven't seen anything from them related to the card... i might give them a call tomm and see whats up.

I just got the card myself
Haven't even gotten gas yet
SAMs gas isn't usually that much cheaper is it?
The SAMs is Denham is inconvenient for gas and there's a cheaper station by my house, but last time I used my Amex at the local place, it stopped at 50 bucks so I'm not going there anymore
