I love all those 4 and 1, fake, onside kick etc etc he called last Saturday. We have not seen that Les Miles in a long while , sure it didn't work but it show he didn't back down or wimp out of it either. That aggressiveness seem to have fed the offense and defense all night long.

All hail the mad hatter!

Yes. I think he'll be here until he retires. We're in the talk year in and year out.

Also consider his family too. Doing well in school, have friends, etc.

I honestly think he and his family love it here.

I think the Mad Hatter shows up only when he lacks confidence in his team's ability to match-up head-to-head. Last year, I don't think there was a single game that he felt threatened by. This year, there was some insecurity against Bama, so he was pulling out all the stops ... until late in the game when he felt comfortable with his team's ability to match up and defeat the Tide. Then he reverted to the conservative Miles and it came back and bit him.

This is right on the money. Les didn't realize that he had the better team until late in the game. Up until then he thought he had to roll the dice to have a chance to win. Turns out he might have won just by playing it straight.

Actually I think Saban fear the unpredictable les mile more then the predictable one. Because when he pulled the fake feild goal stunt , Kirby Smart and saban started to try and overcompensate for possible trick plays on every try after that, which let us play regular football. Bama Defense like when teams play them straight up but when you add something that they have to think about , it get them tense.

The Onside kick also made them think twice about the rest of the game that we might be trying it all game.

I definitely agree with this ... the unpredictable Miles cause havoc with "the Process".

My guess is that you're included in this fanbase? Either that or you're a Gump ... either way you're pathetic.

Personally I prefer a coach who utilizes the horses he has in the stable and beats teams straight up.There is absolutely no reason for LSU to be considered a lucky team when they can win by being the better team. The players were good enough to win with talent and desire Sat, night but he decided to roll the dice unnecessarily.IMPO

he's in for the long haul. no doubt, especially lsu being competitive.

and when he puts it on the line, it only makes the team better.

we need an OC that can gain 425 yards on the best defensive team in the country - one that can play with the pros!

I hope not. If so then we will be the new Longhorns. Content with "10 win seasons" and the 2nd best team in the conf with no love & respect from the media and voters.

I think he is here till he retires. He has turned down the other consevable jobs that he would have taken.

On another note. I think he is still learning - becoming better. This is really good. He and the staff already have a great ability to see what a player is in HS and what they can become, and turns kids into the NFL. He is a great motivator (not my words, but players). I think he is learning more about coaching and certain things, so yes, thrill is still there so....

I hope he's here for the rest of his career!!!!!! I believe he will win afleast 1-2 NC in the future!!!! He's great for the school and football program, since miles came Lsu is 2nd in graduating players only behind vandy.... He's in the NC hunt yr in and yr out.... He's a really great re recruiter n besides who else in college can do a better job then him!!!!! His biggest threat in all of football is saban n bama, but the same goes for saban n bama with LSU!!!!!! He's a top 5 coach at worst I think top 3 with Myers, saban, and miles not necessarily in that ordr
