Well with Mett playing up to his potential and our WR's not dropping passes, our offense can be really spectacular, so he was kind of right.

I like Gary D, but those talking heads are full of sh*t.....every weekend. He was probably referring more to the O line than Mett.

I love how the past two weeks we hear about how awful met is, and how the Bama d will pick LSU appart.

Suddenly LSU gets respected?

Weird.

I felt like the announcers rightly recognized how well LSU was playing and even seemed excited for the Tigers a couple times. My, what an epic win that would (should) have been. I love being the underdog.

I listened to Gary D on Sirius radio today. He was asked about our final drive on offense. He said it was predictable that Miles would run the ball three times to take the clock. Every one knew that was what he would do. He wouldn't put it in his quarterback's hands to win under those circumstances.

Gary then went on to say that if he were calling the plays for LSU he WOULD HAVE DONE THE EXACT SAME THING.

He was also asked about then sending out Alleman to attempt a field goal to go up only 6. He said that THAT WAS THE ABSOLUTE RIGHT DECISION.

He was also asked about the last play of the game. He said that they didn't really break it down on the broadcast because it was such a moment. But that he saw that LSU did not actually send the all out blitz, they faked the all out blitz and a couple of guys stayed back for the dump off throw, but they got caught up in Alabama's line and blocked. It was the blocking of the line which opened the hole, not an over blitz.

He didn't really like any of the fakes but he was very affirmative that he did not see that Les lost the game in the final minutes. He saw Alabama execute the 2-minute offense perfectly.
