Me neither.

I usually stop watching anything gameday related after LSU loses.

Said Les should not have made all those risky calls that cost LSU the game

Holtz said he was impressed with Mett and the WRs and it was a shame they played so well and lost

championship teams make the plays to win the game even if outplayed.

Holtz bragged on ZM8 and said LSU outgained them

Both he and Holz gave the Players all the credit they earned...pretty much roasted Miles for his few play call mistakes.

Well sounds like they were correct in their thinking. No complaints here.

Said LSU outplayed Bama, Mettenberger surprising, but Bama made the plays to win and that is why they are a championship contender.

He said what all knowledgeable college football fans are saying.

That Les blew it by using 2 of the 4 trick plays, that he should not have done them.

In particular the aggregious calls were the fake field goal and the Warecat. A high school coach would not have attempted those plays in those conditions. (the Warecat should have called a timeout and reassessed the situation or called another play, it was very poorly executed.)

I will say this, looking at the formations for Offense and Defense during the Warecat play that if they would have ran the ball outside instead of up the middle I believe LSU gets the first down on that play. Instead right up the middle into 800+ lbs of meat

I thought they were going to fake the pitch outside to Ford and run a misdirection the other way. But Bama was staying at home for the most part so it probably would have ended up the same way.

I thought the same exact thing. The formation was the main problem on the play. I didn't have a problem going for it on 4th and 1 but good lord what the hell was that formation?

Warecat--it was the perfect formation at the perfect point in the game, however, the play called completely defeated the purpose of advantage the formation and situation provided. The formation as well as the defense presented by Bama screamed for an outside run ----any outside run Ware under center and a fake run with a quick pitch( like at A and M) or option is a big gain/easy first. Ware under center running the QB sneak rt into a lb stacked defensive line is like charging up hill right into a fixed , intrenched defensive position. Go around the position and outflank it with speed. It's a shame. When I saw the formation I thought without a doubt we would quick pitch or option. I started yelling it to everyone around me it we were a out to score on it or get an easy first. Could not believe we ran a sneak from that formation. If out intent was to ran at them , put copeland and hill back in the I. Just my thoughts

ND would get crushed by just about any team with a pulse. Somehow barely scrapping by OU with a W equates to NCG hype? GTFO
