Have heard great things about all five of these, and plan to watch them in the near future. Thoughts on them?

Absolutely loved the Descent. Saw it in a theater and it was very claustrophobic and terrifying. I'm sure it will lose something on the small screen but definitely worth watching.

Saw both versions of Let Me In. Atmospheric and creepy. Excellent movies.

Drag Me to Hell was very entertaining. Probably more enjoyable for the fun of it than the horror. Good movie. Loved the girl in it big time.

Haven't seen the other two you referenced.

I watched Trick R Treat halloween night since I had not seen it before and people on the board talked about it. Meh.. Wasn't bad I guess but not great either. Reminded me alot of the old Tales from the Crypt stories.

Did not care that much for drag me to hell but the other 4 are solid. Especially the descent and let me in, two of the best horror movies in recent years.

All good movies, Drag Me to Hell is the least impressive. I saw Eden Lake a few years back and is one of my favorite horror movies. Its well made and has great shock value. Can't believe it went under the radar like it did.

Drag Me to Hell

Drag me to hell is more humor/horror on the lines of Evil Dead 2, which given the director makes sense. I enjoyed it a great deal as that.

Let the Right one in and the Descent are both excellent.

I don't watch horror, but on halloween a group of us watched Drag Me To Hell and had a wonderful time laughing and MST3K-ing it. It's enjoyable, but campy...great with the right crowd.

Eden Lake is a fricked up movie, my GF got so worked up over the ending that she was balling crying and will never watch it again.

Drag Me to Hell was horrible.

I've only seen Let Me In and DMTH out of the listed films, but both were very enjoyable.

Descent was pretty good, especially in a theatre

Do yourself a favor and watch Let The Right One In over Let Me In. Remake was pointless. It's basically the same movie just not quite as well done.
