Yes...about 3 rows from the top in the upper deck. The only good thing about that game was the ease of mixing drinks under the poncho. The rain shooting over the top of the upper deck in the wind was miserable. Johnson still had Walsh throwing deep when it was 30 something to 3.

Yeah, made it through the third quarter and gave up. Remember the night well.

Sat thru that whole fn game. My grandad was being honored. Those thugs swarmed midfield pregame taunting "We're gonna kick yer arse." And they did.

True, but the M of H was a drizzle compared to the U ( which was the last time umbrellas were allowed in the Stadium. The team was worse than the weather.

Let's keep our chins up. We are a very good team. Maybe a couple of plays/ players/injuries/suspensions from being a great team.

As I said ----

I was there and if I remember correctly the rain stopped at about half time and the front came through temperature dropped and the wind picked up to about 25 mph. I think even JJ's hair was messed up.

Wasn't this game the week after the Earthquake game?

I was at the Miami (FL) game. Not sure if they still do this but I was in Boy Scouts and we got in free to "usher" games.

I remember this game because we hd seats on the 4th row. My drunk uncle, before the game started, poured syrup all over the top of the wall on the field to keep people from sitting on it and blocking the view. About 30 people sat on that wall at various points, and started cussing b/c their asses were sticky. Later, my uncle cussed a couple of recruits who were built like brick shithouses for standing and blocking his view. How we didn't die that night, I'll never know. I was about 6, and have been scarred ever since. But, Steve Walsh was friggin awesome that game.

We played Miami 5 games after the Earth Quake game. In retrospect, it took us 6 years to recover from that arse whipping. This LSU team must know that it CAN beat anybody we play and that they just need a play or two to go their way. Miami taught us they we just thought we were good, but weren't really even close.

I'm not much on moral victories, but our Tigers are good and have the potential to be great in the very near future. Stay the course and

At one point it started raining so hard that the crowd started cheering.

In my opinion, Walsh on that night was the best qb I've ever seen in Tiger Stadium. Total domination in horrific passing conditions.

I was there, the wind was so strong, on an LSU punt, the wind caused the ball to not make it to the punter when it was snapped.
