college gameday sign question

what do y'all use to hold the sign up and how high does it need to be?

never done it ... but, have been at gameday in BR before ... looked like folks used small diameter, long PVC.

Whats the process of getting in a sign to the college gameday area?
Who checks them for appropriateness/how hard is it to sneak a funny one, etc.?

Looked to me like there was a fenced in area with only one way in/out.
Have to assume the signs get checked there.
No clue who checks them.
But based on the signs seen over the years ... how hard can it be to smuggle one in ?

Bring in a blank sign and a marker then you can write whatever you want on it. Saw this the year someone had a Corso is a penis sign on national TV

If you have a sign that is inappropriate it won't be up long. ESPN has guys walking around in the crowd with handheld radios getting direction from spotters. Witness it last year in Tuscaloosa.

if they do check them, make the inappropriate one and then make another one and just tape it ontop of the bad one, then once your in, pull it off
