I know that traditional wisdom says to defer to second half considering our strong defense and desire to start out second half strong, but i am really thinking that we should receive if we win the toss.

Bama has steamrolled the competition this season in the first half. Something to the effect of a combined score of 208-31 in first half. I think it is in our best interest to get possession and help create tempo while keeping the Bama offense off the firld as much as possible to start the game.

what say you?

I would receive if I were les. Our kick coverage is shite, it could be 7-0 with 14:50 left in the first

We need to try and get out ahead, if we go down we're in trouble.

I would normally be good with that, but I would say stick the D out there early. The stadium will be full of energy to start, let the D go out and get a 3 and out and that stadium will be fricking rockin. Defer.

This, plus bama fans were saying that bama is not very good on their first possession.

Defer. The crowd will be more into it from the beginning.

I think no matter who you're playing you should defer. We can't risk getting the ball first and going 3 and out. The crowd will already be on edge when the offense is on the field and that would hurt badly to give the gumps a shorter field to begin with. I'd rather we put the D out there, shut them down and get the momentum our way early.

Defer. Just because I procrastinate and like to put things off.
