Student gate question

I have some friends trying to sell their student tickets and I have some graduated friends who are interested. The non-students would need to use somebody's student ID to get in. Question is:
1. What are the chances the scanners at the gate actually check and/or care that it's not their ID?
2. If they do check and care, what are the repercussions? Do they just turn you away or do they confiscate the ID and sanction that student?
FYI, the actual tickets are generic and don't have names on them. Need the ID just for the initial gate...I'm hoping it's such a clusterf*ck that nobody cares

Theyve started to crack down in recent years. I imagine they will be diligent in checking IDs for this game.

as long as they are the same sex and hair color, they won't have a problem

See, I can't decide if they would crack down more on this game because they know there's probably a lot more resale with tickets, or if it's gonna be so hectic at the gate that they won't have time to deal with it

It all luck of the draw on which gate attendant you get. If an ID gets confiscated make sure they report it lost first thing Monday morning.

Just tell your friend to act like he belongs. If he acts nervous and just stares at the attendant then they will know somethings up. Engage in conversation and just keep moving.

if you look nothing like the id they will take it and not let u in. That is all
