Anyone else incredibly happy about where were at going into 11/3?

Everyone and their mom think there's not a chance in hell we come within 2 TD's of the Tide. I love being the under dog and playing with future NFL players. I can't wait to see Fluker vs Mingo, Montgomery vs Cyrus, Freak vs Warmack, Minter vs Lacy/Yeldon. Gosh damn I love LSU football. Geaux Tigers.

I'm not quite as optimistic as you are, but there is no way in hell I see Bama winning by 2 TDs.

I go to Bama and everyone believes we are just going to crush LSU. I on the other hand having grown up in an LSU family fully believe this game is going to be a war and come down to the last 5 minutes in the 4th quarter. I fully believe in the magic of Death Valley at night. I put 20 bucks on LSU covering a 5 point spread with the push and my prediction is 17-12 Bama with Bama driving for the late TD.

I think with how much negativity there has been around our program and the fact that we have all of this NFL talent still after the plethora of injuries and suspensions, it's truly amazing we are in this position. How many teams out there could reload after losing what we have? Is there a team out there who could lose their top LT, RB and CB and still compete at a high level. ESP considering we lost our previous top CB to the draft.
Having said that, I think the players would prefer to be 8-0, but a win over BAMA this weekend will make the loss borderline irrelevant.

All kidding aside, good post and I agree with you. Every time these 2 teams play it's a war, with the exception of 1/9.
