Because of transactional costs and logistics, physical gold is not necessarily the best gold play for individuals IMO. You might find GLD to be a lower cost equally efficacious option. If you do opt for physical gold, Texas Precious Metals offers competitive buy-sell rates.

There are a lot of good brokers out there. Scottrade has really low transaction costs and etrade has a great user interface.

Why are you so interested in Rangold Resources?

Seriously, message me and I'll send you more info.

It's a pretty simple business model so it's a low expense ratio. We store the physical gold in a Storage Center here in town with a wheelbarrow on site. I run the google spreadsheet and paypal account which I'll give the info for if you PM me.

Interesting. Wouldn't suspect there's a big difference. Why do you think so?

I am googling all the storage centers in BR with a wheelbarrow, and will be over with bolt cutters shortly.

Be very careful and make sure who you purchase the gold from is legit. There has been a lot of issues with gold plated tungsten being used as the density is the same, in bars especially.

If you don't want to get whacked on transaction costs there are a few gold ETF's out there.

Definitely not a huge difference but lower expense ratios.

not sure you can find krugerrands but not much difference in any of these as far as performance $GLD $IAU $CEF GLD/IAU/CEF If you want physical then you need to google a reputable dealer (lots of history) touch and feel it as well.....
