Game by game parking at bell tower

Has anybody done this and paid the $40? If so, how early should I get there if it opens at 4am. I figured earlier since its Bama. Is it just a free for all? Can you set up skeletons the night before?

There is free parking right behind the Law building. It is basically right where you are saying but it's free.

We tailgate close by that spot. I think where you are talking has a bunch of frats over there. If you get out there at 4am you will have the entire place to yourself. You can set up your tent the day before with out a problem. Thats what most do. Fair warning....dont be suprised if your tent isnt moved a few feet if you set up where other have been setting up for the past five games.

Paying to park isnt all that bad if you dont want to lug the entire tailgate out there. We usually pay for two vechicles to park that are the set up crew and the rest park for free. There are tons of places to park with out paying if you dont' have to.
