Keep in mind that there has not been 90,000 people in actual attendance in Tiger Stadium since scanners began use in 2007. LINK
Largest actual crowd was 89,800 for UF in 2007.
Over 90K or under this weekend?
I say yes, and Tigers win!
ETA: the article cites figures only since the beginning of scanner use at all gates in 2007.

Why is it a fail? It is documented that since LSU installed counters, Tiger Stadium has never actually had 90,000 people in the stadium. Will there be this Saturday?? I say yes

WHY? I think this is a legit question. LSU has not had 90 thousand in the stadium ,even in games like this.
I hope they do have a full stadium and another 90 thousand outside the stadium.

I call bullshite
I agree. If there were 12,500 empty seats for Washington, 8,000 for Arkansas last year, and 7,000 for Auburn, I'd like to know where they were ????

I suspect that these scanners are missing more than the max. 1000 that they think they might miss per game. How would they know anyway?

This... Something has to be off. For big games there is not an empty seat in sight.

Paid attendance vs. actual ticket scans.
Posted on 10/30/12 at 11:35 am to MC123
i read the article, but is the number they announce the number of tickets sold or the number in attendance?
because all the big games they announce over 90,000
because all the big games they announce over 90,000
