For LSU to control its own destiny LSU needed Florida to get to Atlanta unscathed. Should everything remain the same other than UF losing to UGA; if LSU knocks off Alabama this weekend, it wouldve left UF at #1, K-St #2, with it being a toss up of where LSU ND and Oregon fall 3-5. I personally feel Oregon would be 3, LSU 4, ND 5 after next week assuming LSU beats Alabama. Then LSU should it avenge its one loss of the season over the #1 team in the nation it would easily jump Oregon in the computers (with all of Oregon's upcoming "big games" losing meaning as Or St and USC both losing) and with K St moving up we would slide into 2. UF losing this weekend was the worst thing for LSU.

Wrong. I think 2 of the 3 undefeateds would have to lose for us to get there. If that happens and we win out we are in for sure. If 2 stay undefeated we dont make it.

It meant nothing. LSU would not jump undefeated big12 , pac12 or Notre Dame.

its is irrelevant

undefeated teams from the pac12, big12, and ND will be ahead of a 1 loss SEC team

a 1 loss SEC champion will be ahead of all those teams if they get 1 loss

irrelevant

Well, I do see your reasoning. But, I can't complain when a team ranked ahead of us goes down. We need all the outside help we can get, having a loss under our belt.

Wrong. Losing to UF was the worst. And LSU won't beat Bama.

And LSU wouldn't jump an undefeated anyone period.

Oregon and Notre Dame stumble. LSU runs the table. It's LSU and K State in the title game, and ESPN executives commit hara kiri

Just need everyone to lose as much as possible.

People in front of us lose, we win. We good.

I understand people don't see those teams losing, but I do.

1. WTF didn't we notify Florida of this travesty? (Obviously they'd rather spite LSU than win)
2. LSU losing to UF was the worst thing for LSU.

Would you bet everything you own on the truthfulness of that statement? I think not. Because you don't know that to be true. In otrher words, you don't know what you are talking about. So STFU!!

Don't worry about it we can't beat bama. A hurricane would lose against alabama, that tornado couldn't even mess with the mighty tide.

Well sunshine, Bama's biggest loss is AJ having a gimp knee and now a bum shoulder. Don't you think for minute that we are going to take it easy on him.
We both are going to have 1 loss and we have played a better schedule.

Sorry for the Bammers, but this season was all for not.

Wrong. We weren't going ahead of undefeated Oregon, Ks state, or notre dame. Florida losing is no different.
