How X-Men Destiny became a really crappy game
I'm kind of fascinated with the process of how the games I play are made. I didn't play this game because I heard it sucked but take a look at how dysfunctional the relationship between developer and publisher was.

"Well, it was clear that the flow of information between SK and Activision wasn't going smoothly," they said. "Activision would request changes or feedback on a topic. They would get a sentence or two in response, with a promise to look into an issue in the future." Invariably, the source said, these issues would completely drop off SK's radar, with no real follow-up from the Activision project managers. "Essentially, the feedback loop was completely neglected. Activision started to get pretty upset that nothing they mentioned was ever addressed properly and remedied."

Activision hired this company to make the game, let them make a piece of crap, and then published it even though it was terrible. So no, they didn't make it, but yes, they are partially to blame.

What's great is that even though Activision KNEW the X-Men game was going to be awful, they still published a promo with SKs name on it and had a one-year release date.
