that do what they're supposed to do, take care of business, and stay out of the news for dumb crap and do not give the school a 'black eye'.
You guys are not role models for my kids - that's my job as a parent - but like it or not you are public figures that often become the face of LSU in the media.
I recognize that sometimes that may be a heavy burden for college students that still have some growing up to do, but your efforts are really appreciated!

While I was an LSU athlete, at least six of my teammates got arrested. It never appeared in the Advocate or Reveille.

What percentage of 18-23 year old males do you think smoke pot at least once a week?
Ditto 18-23 year old college students?
For that matter, what about 18-20 year old male college students who violate the law by drinking?
I'm sure that the percentages of athletes that do this are similar.
TM's "offense" in this matter is really that he got caught breaking football team rules. He suffered the progressive consequences of those rules up until he got kicked off the team. And now, he has put himself in a position that whatever chance he had to return is likely gone.

Exactly. All this shows from Mathieu is that he lacks discipline and nothing else. Something made from a freaking plant shouldn't be illegal. Hell why not make wine and beer illegal, not only do they impair judgement, they're both made from mother nature. People die all the time from cigarettes and alcohol but weed is the only one banned.

It blows my mind the number of people on here who are still defending this kid and making excuses for his transgressions. This kid is an F up, get over it and move on.

Taking the time to take my head out of the sand, looking around, don't like what I see, now sticking it back in again alone with everyone else...As long as we win games is all that is important!
