Here is my team in a standard 4pt passing TD 12 team league

QB- Big Ben
RB - Charles, Mathews, Martin, Wilson, Tate
WR - Nicks, Decker, Britt, D. Moore, S. Hill
TE - Hernandez

I think I have enough depth at RB/WR to make a huge offer for Brees without crippling my team. (This isn't a homer move, I think Brees is gonna be making it rain during fantasy playoffs)

I gave up Mathews and Vick for Brees and Antonio Brown

Maybe Mathews for Brees straight up

You could probably get Vick for a good price in your league.

You would get laughed at quickly if in a league with competitive owners.

Go talk to the boys in the non-regulars league. They wanted Mathews BAD. It was right after he carved up the saints lousy D so that was fresh on their minds. Mathews could be a top 5 back in a PPR though

I just can't trust that dude. He's too injury prone and really hasn't lived up to his potential, but every year he gets drafted early.

Played in 14 games last year. Ran for 1000 yards and caught 50 balls. It's the same reason DMC get drafted high. Potential

He's a great RB when healthy, but he is not worthy of Drew Brees. Sorry.

That shite would not fly. And that is not an opinion. I would lead a fricking text crusade.

I prob wouldn't give up Brees for Mathews either but it's plausible, especially in a 4 pt TD league. Brees owner may have a good backup and may not be able to get full value. Who knows, crazier trades have happened

The only RBs that I would even consider giving up Brees for straight up would be foster, mccoy and rice. Anything else is ridiculous

So you think Brees for Mathews straight up in a 6 pt passing TD league is MORE plausible?

IMO your team is pretty average and you don't have depth at all.

Ben
Charles
Matthews
Nicks
Decker
Martin
Hernandez

Is prob your basic lineup. Nicks has been out a couple times this year and you don't have a viable replacement.

After your top 3 rbs which are pretty good, you have absolutely nothing. If one of them goes down, then you're probably screwed. If you want to trade for a decent QB, go after Dalton or Eli. Since this is only 4pt TDs, then you could get RG3 and #3 skill player if you package Ben with Martin.
