I've heard people say mechanical b'heads shoot like field tips but I've never shot mechanicals before. Any suggestions?

rage shoots just like field tips. dont even use the practice rage cause all it does is mess up my block black. 4 for 4 shooting 3 blade rage the farthest one ran 75 -85 yards.

The only things about mechanicals are: not getting a pass through and opening up before hitting the target. I've watched them shoot rage on tv and I've only seen a couple go through the deer. When I shoot a deer I want that sucker to be bleeding from both sides.

I'm a grim reaper man myself and I have seen what they will do at 25 yards.

Full pass through on the reaper and stuck in a root.

100 gr. Slick Trick Magnum and it ain't even close. Killed two deer in Mexico in the 210-220 lb range and they didn't run over 50 yds.

Grim reaper shoots pretty true to field tips. I have never had to retune my bow

i haven't and have been killing deer with them ever since they came out... You asked, I told you my opinion and I didnt read my opinion in a book or watching tv..

Same here, but didn't stick a root.
Was just laying on the ground covered in blood last year.
Yotes took a chunk out of the arse within an hour of me sticking her.

I've never shot them before. I was just going by what I've watched on tv. I appreciate your opinion. I've been reading up on the spitfires since you said something about them. All of the reviews I've read were awesome except for one German, but you know there's always going to be "that guy!" I'm seriously considering buying spitfires. Thanks for the info!
