Ok, so my copy of SI came in today. I haven't really read it much lately since I can get all of the info that I need off of the web, but the subscription was like $48 and came with a free copy of NCAA13, which was $59 at the store, so it made economic sense.

Anyway, here are the headlines:

Endangered (we all know about that one)

You serious, Clark? When did Sports Illustrated go full retard?

Dude, I don't know where you've been but it's been a loooong time since the Cronkite days. The entire news business has been shitting the bed for years. They're not into reporting as much as entertaining.

Honestly, the last copy of SI that I bought and actually read was after '97 Florida Game. I bought the NC copies with LSU on the cover and the Saints SB edition to keep and MAY have read that one.

I guess they have to compete with the garbage on Between the Lines, but before the internet it was actually a good magazine.

I cancelled my subscription years ago when I realized the only thing in the magazine worth a shite were the opening pictures.

I saw it today in a doc's office. It is only like 20 pages thick. That means advertising is way down and it's drying up
